6″ Schefflera Arboricola Yellow
LIGHT : Prefer medium to bright light
WATER: Water thoroughly, then let the soil dry to 1” depth before watering again. Never let a plant sit with water in its saucer. If you see leaves turning black and dropping off it‘s a good sign that the soil is staying too wet or moist. On the flip side, the leaf tips wrinkle if they are too dry.
FACTS To keep plants small, prune just above a leaf. Root rot usually results from a soil mix that does not drain quickly or overly frequent watering. Remember that when the plant is moved from a certain lighting location to another it will go through a period of acclimating. Expect the plant to thin out and loose some leaves. Do not place plants near air conditioning vents. Low light can cause leaf yellowing with spindly, weak stems. Leaf drop can be caused by excessive watering, low humidity, or drafts.
