Wood and Nature is a casket spray, 38 inches wide and 30 inches deep, built on greenery rather than flowers. Cut birch logs stand upright through the center and rest along the lower edge, with curly willow arcing out between them. Sword fern, salal, and aspidistra form the body of the design, accented with red hypericum berries, yellow solidago, silver dusty miller, white waxflower, and clusters of white Queen Anne's lace.
This is the most rustic piece in the casket spray collection, and a fitting tribute for someone whose life was spent outdoors — a woodsman, a hunter, a fisher, someone who preferred the bush to the city. The green-forward design reads naturally in a chapel or graveside setting and sits especially well on a wood casket.
Flower varieties may be substituted based on seasonal availability. Birch logs and curly willow are fixed elements of this design and are not substituted.
Delivery & Pickup
We offer same-day delivery throughout South Durham (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Clarington) for orders placed before 12:00pm. Orders placed after 12:00pm can be scheduled for next-day or future delivery. We deliver in two windows, morning and afternoon. Same-day deliveries go out in the afternoon window. We offer same-day pick up at our Courtice store and next-day pick up at our Whitby store. Pickup is available any time store locations are open. Outside South Durham we deliver next day across most of the GTA, and we can sometimes arrange same-day if you call ahead — reach us at (905) 623-4441. See GTA delivery rates.
